A 22-year-old Kuwait girl took 56 pain killer pills in a suicide attempt, but doctors managed to save her life.
The girl was rushed to the hospital in the capital Kuwait City in a serious condition after swallowing the pills at home.
Newspapers said doctors managed to extract 56 pills from her stomach nearly an hour after she swallowed the drugs.
Police are waiting for the girl to fully recover to question her about the motives for her attempt to commit a suicide, the report said.
