Filipino community participates in blood drive in Najran

As part of their initiative to advocate health in the kingdom, Filipino community joined a bloodletting drive on September 7 in Najran, Saudi Arabia.

Several Filipinos based in the city have participated in the bloodletting campaign held at King Khaled Hospital, including some of the 300 Filipino medical workers in the hospital.

The drive was supported by Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah. Consul General Ed Badajos visited the hospital to personally witness the campaign together with Consul Mary Jennifer Dingal, Filipino Community Coordinator in Najran Faisal Mailao and and Assistant Coordinator Nemencia Marcos.

Consul General Badajos thanked the Filipinos who participated in the bloodletting campaign, saying that donating blood is probably one of the most important things one can do as a personal advocacy. He also expressed his appreciation to the management of King Khaled Hospital for their trust and confidence in their Filipino medical workers.
