A Saudi woman gave birth to quintuplets in a Caesarean operation at a hospital in the Gulf Kingdom and doctors said all of them are in good condition.
More than 10 doctors and scores of nurses took part in the operation at a public obstetrics hospital in the Eastern Ihsa province.
Newspapers said the woman gave birth to three boys and two girls, weighing between one kg and 1.19 kg each.
“Doctors said the mother is fine and all the babies are in good condition… they are being kept in hospital for a week to ensure they remain under observation,” the Arabic language daily Al Weam said.
