A Kuwaiti woman and two Syrian women fought a pitched battle with shoes after a fight between their children in Kuwait, resulting in the injury of the Kuwaiti.
Police rushed to a beach area in the capital Kuwait City after receiving phone calls that three women were involved in a violent fight and were using shoes, including high heel footwear, according to newspaper reports.
Several men who were present in the area told police they could not intervene on the grounds that it was a violent fight and they were afraid of being accused of molesting the women. Police said the Kuwaiti woman suffered from light injuries while the two Syrian women were arrested.
“It was a violent fight that was caused by a quarrel between their children… instead of stopping the quarrel, the women started a fight,” Al Anba daily said.
