Kuwaiti on a South Africa safari trip gets bullet in the head

Kuwait City: A 33-year-old Kuwaiti died in a local hospital on Saturday nearly four weeks after he was shot in the head while on a safari trip in South Africa.

The unnamed victim was seriously wounded and was taken to hospital in South Africa before he was airlifted to Kuwait, the Arabic language daily Alanba said.

His brother was told by South African police that they are still investigating the incident.

Kuwaiti investigators flew to South Africa last week to join the probe.

“He had been in the intensive care unit in Mubarak Hospital in Kuwait City for nearly four weeks until he died yesterday,” reports said.
