Saudi top retailer wants Pinoy products and workers

One of the top retailers in Saudi Arabia on Monday expressed interest to bring in more Philippine products to the kingdom, as well as to hire more Filipino workers.

Manuel Market CEO and Co-Founder Khalid Al Darwish, in a courtesy call to Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah, said that the decision to include the Philippines in their company is in line with their plan to expand its supermarket operations in the kingdom.

The supermarket chain aims to open three branches in Riyadh and two additional stores in Jeddah over the next few months.

Consul General Edgar Badajos promises Al Darwish utmost support for Manual Market’s expansion plans.
