Online service platform Amazon Web Service will hold a digital transformation summit in Bahrain on September 15.
The event, which will be held at The Gulf Hotel in Manama, aims to bring technologists together to connect, collaborate, and share ideas as to how cloud is accelerating innovation for businesses of all sizes.
Cloud computing—or the process of storing data on the internet—has opened many opportunities for consumers and online retailers, and many believe it offers more benefits over traditional computing. It has helped online businesses increase earnings, and given customers access to thousands of stores.
A subsidiary of e-commerce company Amazon, AWS is an on-demand cloud computing platforms for individuals, companies, and governments, on a metered pay-as-you-go basis.
The summit will feature keynote and sessions that cover topics varying from new services, architecture, performance and operations, and AI-ready cloud services.
“Whether it’s exploring the cosmos, researching life-saving cures, or hosting petabyte-scale apps, the cloud is revolutionizing how we work and live. Connect with colleagues and peers, see what digital transformation looks like, and discover how cloud-based skills empower the workforce of today and tomorrow,” AWS said in its website.
