The Ambiance
The team visited SFC Plus’ recently launched branch in Hamdan in Abu Dhabi – and the moment you enter their doors, you’ll immediately be greeted by their courteous wait staff with a “Happy –day!”, depending on the day of your visit. As you’re seated, the place gives a vibe of home with comfortable seating and evenly spaced interiors enough for many customers to just chill and dine. “We envisioned the branch to make customers feel like they’re just at home relaxing and having a great meal,” shared Training Manager Anthony Gacis.
The Food
SFC Plus offers an amazing spread of different kinds of meals – from burgers, chicken, pizza, quesadillas and more – each with its own distinct taste. The best part? Each meal is freshly made out of their own kitchen. “Pizza doughs are freshly made every morning, each piece of chicken is cut and marinated overnight to be served the following day, and all toppings are fresh. We serve each meal with an element of freshness as it brings out the real taste of SFC Plus,” furthers Gacis.
Chicken. If there’s anything that SFC Plus is known for – it’s their signature ‘Skinless Chicken’ that produces a unique, flavorful experience as the chicken itself is marinated and mixed with different spices. Their original recipe gives each piece of chicken a distinct taste with just that right hint of spice that will have you grab another piece.
Pizza. The team was able to try three pizza flavors- Thai Satay, Hawaiian, and Meat Eater. SFC Plus’ Thai Satay brings with it the juiciness of each chicken piece flavored with a slight tinge of spice coupled with an assortment of fresh, crisp vegetables.
Their Hawaiian Pizza spreads chunks of pineapple, slices of pepperoni as well as loads of cheese on top as a comfort food choice of Filipinos.
For meat lovers, SFC Plus’ Meat Eater pizza fulfills their cravings of different kinds of meat and cheese all mixed in. What separates SFC Plus’ pizza choices is that they also offer unique dips for their pizzas – giving each slice another dimension of flavor.
Burgers. SFC Plus offers several different variations of the American favorite in huge servings. In addition, they recently introduced their budget-friendly Yumm Burger options available in either chicken or beef. Each bite of their Yumm Burger gives out the taste of tenderness for the beef patty, while their chicken burger has this distinct crisp from patty to vegetables. They will also soon be launching their Breakfast Burger, a complete to-go meal to get your day started with scrambled eggs, cheese, meat patties packed in a delicious burger.
Quesadillas and Wraps. A recent addition to SFC Plus’ line up of delicious offerings are their Quesadillas and Wraps which are both filled with delicious ingredients. Each piece of their Quesadillas oozes with cheesy goodness mixed in with meats and vegetables, coupled with their signature salsa dip.
SFC’s Wrap gives busy customers a quick grab-and-go option to enjoy a freshly made wrap filled with a tasty mix of vegetables, meat, and more.
Drinks. SFC Plus offers freshly made lemonade available in classic and blue lemonade options. The classic flavor is as you remember it, with its sourness to each taste, while the blue lemonade is quite the opposite, bringing with it a taste of sweetness.
Desserts. No meal is ever complete without a sweet ending – SFC Plus has several dessert options available including their Chocolate Mousse, Tiramisu, as well as two flavors of their classic milkshake: Chocolate and Strawberry both with ice cream on top.
All of their desserts are filled with creamy goodness serving a lip-smacking ending to a delicious fast-casual dining experience. They also have their unique take on the Filipino favorite, Buchi, that serves up a chewy sesame rice cake ball filled with Lotus spread.
The Verdict
