Condominiums are some of the most common developments in the Visayas region. Condos are not just conveniently located and relatively affordable; they also prove to be the most viable way in addressing the residential needs of a constantly growing population.
Based on website data it has recently gathered by Lamudi Philippines said there are three notable cities from the Visayas region most searched by users for the condominiums for sale, all of which are part of Metro Cebu.
Cebu City
As the commercial and financial center of the Visayas, the Queen City of the South received the most interest for condos for sale in the region, or as much as 7% of page views for the country overall. While comparable to Metro Manila in terms of rapid development, the city also impresses with its rich culture and natural beauty, said the Lamudi report.
Lamudi’s Outlook report also mentioned Ayala Land’s Cebu Business Park,“a 50-hectare business district that houses Ayala Center Cebu, office towers, and several high-end condos by Ayala Land Premier and Alveo Land.”
With all these developments in just a span of few years, Cebu continues to be a promising city seen to offer convenience and class to its existing and future residents, said Lamudi.
Lapu-Lapu City
While flying under the radar when compared to Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City is similarly a pride of Visayas real estate; it is also among the region’s highly urbanized cities, said the report.
Although it is wide in scope, travel through the cities should not be a problem. Lapu-Lapu is still part of the mainland Cebu, joined to Mandaue City by multiple bridges and roads. It is also accessible to Mactan-Cebu International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the Philippines.
“Condos for sale in Lapu-Lapu City are also comparably more affordable than those located centrally in Cebu City, and home seekers looking for less costly alternatives also contributes to the city’s demand,” said the report.
Mandaue City
Mandaue has several road-widening constructions and developments. These projects serve as continued efforts to establish a more urbanized city where condo living is ideal.
Because of this, he Lamudi report stated, Mandaue continues to be among the cities which property buyers consider in their search for condominiums for sale in the Visayas. Recently, Mandaue gained 0.4% of page views on Lamudi for listings of condo units for sale, ahead of cities like Angeles, Cagayan De Oro, and Cainta.
