WATCH: Father meets newborn for the first time in UAE after global travel disruptions

In a touching moment, a father was finally able to hold his newborn baby in his arms after they were separated by global travel disruptions due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Abdulmajid Koutrach’s wife Farah Oubed had been stuck in Toronto, Canada after visiting her sister.
The border closures forced Farah to give birth in Toronto two months ago. Since then Koutrach patiently waited to see their newborn.
After four months, Farah along with their sons Adam, 4, and baby Ahmad were among the UAE visa holders who were flown by Etihad Airways from Toronto to Abu Dhabi on May 12.
An emotional Koutrach welcomed his family. And after a long wait, his excite turned into a touching moment.
“It’s like a dream come true to be honest,” Koutrach said in a video posted by Etihad on their Facebook page.
“It was very hard to be away from them for so long due to the coronavirus crisis and I’m the happiest man alive to see my beautiful wife Farah and our oldest son Adam again, and especially to meet my new son Ahmad for the very first time,” Koutrach  added.
The family has been staying in UAE for more than 10 years.
