LOOK: Pinoy farmer leaves fruit, veggies to street kids

Cordillera farmers went out of their way to help those in need especially street children.
Facebook user Jake Gayog shared a photo of children who were still sleeping to whom he left the fruits and vegetables such as strawberries, broccoli, and others on a round container.
Gayog, a farmer who delivers his produce to Manila, said he sympathizes with street children because they one of the most vulnerable during this difficult time.
“When the kids will wake up, even if they did not meet their donor face to face, I’m very sure it will bring joy to these kids. They will feel the love of Cordillera farmers,” he wrote on his caption.
Gayog shared that seeing them also made him miss his own children.
“Na-miss ko tuloy mga anak ko. Napaka-unfair. Hindi alam ng mga bata gaano kadelikado ang kanilang sitwasyon. Kung pwede ko lang kayo maisam sa bundok at mamuhay kayo sa aircon na libre. Kung pwede lang sana,” he concluded.
Some netizens lauded Gayog for his acts of kindness.
By now, the children may have woken up and enjoyed the healthy treat that Gayog left.
