Filipinos urged to take quick online COVID-19 course that allows them to become ambassadors against the pandemic

Filipinos based in the UAE are encouraged to take an online course that can make them ambassadors of the right information about coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
As part of the UAE’s fight against the pandemic, Mohamed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences has introduced “Let’s Break the Chain of Covid-19 Infection” as a new way to disseminate information about preventive measures to battle the pandemic even at the comforts of one’s home.
Some of the professionals in the Filipino community have taken the lead in becoming the ambassadors of right information about COVID-19. These include The Filipino Times General Manager Vince Ang, The Filipino Times Group Sales Manager Reggie Altera, and phd Business Unit Director Roxane Negrillo
According to these new ambassadors, the course (available at learn.mbru.ac.ae/courses/covid19) is easy to complete as it only takes less than an hour. At the end of the class, the new ambassador will be given a certificate and will be tasked to encourage at least three more people to join.
The course is divided into different sections, explained through videos and graphics to make it easier for everyone to absorb. It tackles how respiratory infections are transmitted, the symptoms, the six elements of the chain of infection, as well as ways to prevent its spread.
