An Abu Dhabi-based Filipina was named as one of the finalists of the latest edition of Top Model 2020.
Casey Esguerra will compete along with 32 international models on the Worldwide category of Top Model 2020.
Top Model is an annual modelling competition in London since 2008.
Esguerra has appeared in various advertisements including Abu Dhabi Tourism campaign.
She said she wasn’t expecting that she will make it.
“Parang hindi naman planado talaga I just went to my email and applied online,” she said.
Esguerra added that she is prepping up for the competition.
She also said she looks up to supermodel Tyra Banks and Kelsey Merritt, the first Filipina model to walk on Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
The Top Model 2020 Fashion & Model Awards Show will be held at Amba Hotel Charing Cross on the Strand, on March 28, 2020.
The model search’s advocacy is to help children who are in need especially those who are fighting cancer through Top Model Foundation and Children with Cancer UK.
