Use old containers
Container gardening never gets old because it doesn’t need shelling out a huge amount of cash, not to mention it is environment-friendly. All you need are old tin cans, plastic cups, and even shoe boxes, and you can build a garden in your condo. Paint and decorate those containers to make your garden more colorful. Remember to puncture holes inside the container or use pebbles under the soil for the plants to have a drainage, and place a tray underneath to avoid water spilling.

Take advantage of your wall
Wall gardening is becoming a trend among millennial condo owners because it’s a space saver and it’s much more creative. You can either do a pallet garden wherein you cascade your plants on the wall or use a hanging organizer and place your potted plants on it. Let your imagination run wild and make a beautiful minimalist indoor garden in your home!

Want unique? Make a water garden!
Take gardening up a notch and create a mini pond in your own condo. All you need is a tub or a pot that can handle buckets of water to float the plants. Add fish, lotus, and water lily to provide balance and fragrance in your water garden. That’s a unique way to put some nature in your unit!

Add terrariums
Make your home green and classy by putting terrariums in your mini garden. You can utilize your old glass bowls and jars for your plants, but make sure you add moss or pebbles on the soil for proper drainage. Terrariums also only work when there’s ample sunlight, so do take note of that as well.

Put a trellis
This is another great way to put a garden in your condo while still maximizing the space. You can buy one in your nearest hardware or gardening store or make one using old materials. Another way to put a trellis garden in your unit is growing your plants on the wall post of your balcony—such as morning glory, beans, and tomatoes.
