LOOK: Nervous Fil-Am auditions impresses American Idol judges

A nervous Filipino-American auditionee of the American Idol blew the three judges away with his performance.
Francisco Martin, 18, is a pre-law student. He said this was his first time to do it.
The video showed judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan approaching him and calming him down.
As soon as he sang the song “Alaska” by Maggie Rogers, he impressed the judges with his voice and the talent that he also possessed in writing his own songs.
Judge Katy Perry even asked him to sing one of his original compositions.
Perry described Martin as a “Top 10” material while Bryan said he believes that he can make it to the Top 5.
All three judges voted for him to be in the next round of the competition.
His video alone on AI’s Facebook page already had 1.2 million views.
