Everybody wants to be stylish, but nobody wants to run their pockets dry. Why should they? Style doesn’t have to break the bank. You just need the right amount of knowledge to be able to pull off a great head-turning look. Instead of whipping out your card and spend too much, check out these hacks to be tasteful on a budget:

Check out factory outlets
A lot of high-fashion brands have various factory outlets spread all over the UAE, so there’s really hardly any excuse that for you not to get amazing products at such good deals. Instead of paying retail, we recommend just visit these outlets!

If you must overhaul, do it with accessories
Why should you do a complete wardrobe overhaul every time if you can just update your style with good ol’ accessories? Don’t deplete your bank account just to be on the trend, get the new affordable accessories instead because they can easily change your look from one season to the next—and you’ll get to save more bucks.

Watch out for sales and discounts
Whether you’re shopping online or personally, there are a lot of ways you can score some good deals. One of those is shopping on a sale season. Sign up for newsletters and turn your discount alerts on so you’ll be the first to know if there’s a promo or sale coming up.

Invest in a Tailor
One great way to get good clothes without breaking the bank is to just buy threads and head to your tailor. He or she can make your desired garment perfect to your size and proportions, and you get to wear if as if you didn’t spend less. Honestly, that’s how celebrities and stars look great in their clothes—they have tailors who design the clothes to fit their bodies perfectly. Nobody’s judging them for not buying retail, so why should you be?

Ukay-ukay or tiangges are your best friends
Filipino love discounts. But do you know what they love the most? Ukay-ukays and thrift stores! You can buy pre-loved good-as-new designer items for SO much less, and you can get stylish picks at half the prices you usually get at malls. Did you know that an ukay-ukay in Sharjah offers Dh20 per kilogram of clothes?
