A man who lost his home due to bush fires won the jackpot prize in lottery.
The Australian man who chose to remain anonymous said he used his wife’s special numbers for the ticket he bought from Gold Lotto.
It turns out, his wife’s numbers are indeed special as he was named as the sole winner of the one million dollar jackpot prize in Division One last Wednesday.
The winner said they only rummaged a few charred tea cups in their house that was enraged by wildfires last year, 9 News reported.
The man added that they weren’t able to rebuild their house in northern New South Wales because it was not insured.
“We didn’t know if we would ever be able to rebuild, but now we definitely can,” the winner told ABC News.
“This is amazing. I can’t get over it.”
