The latest Social Weather Stations Survey (SWS) showed that four out of five (79%) adult Filipinos expect a happy Christmas.
Two percent of Filipinos on the other hand said they are expecting it to be a sad one.
Some 19% of Filipinos said their Christmas will be neither happy or sad.
The 79% who are expecting a happy Christmas is the highest since the record-high 82% in 2002.
The survey asked respondents “Sa pangkalahatan, masasabi niyo na ang inyong Pasko ngayong taon ay magiging masaya, malungkot o hindi rin masaya at hindi rin malungkot”.
The survey was conducted from December 16-19, 2019.
