LOOK: Pinay who lost her P3,000 got it back after 2 years

A Filipina who lost her P3,000 at a restaurant in Davao City got it back two years after.

Facebook user Cesnee Tan shared her story on Sunday of how she got it back.

She went back to the same restaurant, a go-to place for barbecue in the city, last December 7.

It was more or less two years since she last ate here.

Little did she know that the owner was waiting for her to come back to give the cash she left in 2017.

“All this time the owner waited for me kay nakita daw nila ang P3k na nawala nako sauna (All this time the owner waited for me ever since they’ve found the P3k that I’ve lost before),” Tan wrote on her post.

How did she know it was hers?

Tan said the P1,000 bills were exactly folded the way it was when she lost it.

“Ani jud pagka-fold sauna tung nagdinanghag ko. Lord, salamat kaayo sa mga ani ka amazing na tao! #Mindblown (The bills were folded the exact same way when I lost it. Lord, thank you for amazing people like them!”

Tan earlier posted the photo on her Facebook My Day but she decided to post on her account so it could reach the owners.

After an hour of posting, Tan said she found the owner named Rosalina Garcia.

Many netizens were also amazed by it.

One asked Tan if it was the same waiter who served her. But she replied in the comment section that it was the owner whom she approached before if she had seen her lost money.

Tan added that the owner recognized her and approached her. She was told that the money was kept in her bag all this time as she waited for her to come back.

Tan was a regular at the barbecue house.

Her post was already shared 3,000 times and gained 7,500 likes on Facebook.
