DUBAI: A 42-year-old housemaid from Isabela, who left her daughter when she was two years old to work in Dubai, was the lucky winner of Eat Bulaga’s Juan for All, All for Juan Sugod Dubai portion, during the Philippines’ longest running noontime show’s gig held at Dubai World Trade Center on Nov. 15.
Marites Galasi Lapastora, whose husband, she said, is running their sari-sari store back home, actually had it all in spades that evening as her Dh100 general admission ticket was given her by a friend as a treat.
“Masaya ako. Di ko ma-imagine na nanalo ako,” Lapastora tells The Filipino Times, adding that she plans to use her holiday prize next year. “Isasama ko yung nanlibre sa akin ng ticket (sa Eat Bulaga),” she said.
According to Belle Lumaban, Ayala Land International Sales senior marketing associate, Lapastora won a voucher for a two nights’ stay for two persons at Huni El Nido courtesy of Ayala Land, with round trip tickets also for 2 from Manila To El Nido from Swift Air.
Lapastora also won Php40,000 worth of home appliances from Avida — washing machine, induction cooker, microwave oven and a 40″ smart LED TV.
She also won a year’s scholarship from Ayala Corp. through its Affordable Private Education Center, Inc. (APEC) at any of its Luzon branch; and a Php50,000 credit “Pamana Padala” account with Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) that comes with a Php100,000 accident insurance and a Php300,000 insurance coverage taking effect on the fourth remittance done through BPI.
Lastly, she also won a P50,000 voucher with GCash, a virtual wallet service under Mynt Company which is a partnership between Globe, Ayala Corp. and Ant Financial.
