Good samaritan returns man’s wallet, refuses reward

A netizen has posted on social media how grateful he was when a stranger returned his wallet he thought he lost last week.

Hans Asenci said he was already driving home after having lunch with his family in Manila, when he realized he did not have his wallet with him.

Asenci then found comfort in the thought that he left his wallet in their house.

“Pag-uwi ko ng bahay wala dun, so nanghina ako at nanghinayang sa nawala sa ‘kin,” he added.

Asenci said his wallet contains Php8,000 and important IDs.

He was surprised when he received a message on his phone.

The good samaritan noted Asenci’s address and located him.

Naibalik lahat, walang labis walang kulang,” he said.

Asensci offered a small reward to Maynard Ronquillo, the Good Samaritan who returned wallet but turned in down.

“Kahit napakagaspang ng buhay, meron pa pa lang mabubuting loob,” the netizen said.
