Expo 2020 surprise awaits passengers at Dubai airports

The Dubai Expo 2020 preparations are now in full swing.

Government authorities will offer bookmarks to Dubai travellers to mark the countdown of the grand event.

The specialized bookmarks will be given to Dubai visitors right after their passports have been stamped. It will contain special barcodes which would allow travellers to explore what Expo 2020 has to offer.

“The countdown to Expo 2020 Dubai has started and we are pleased to be part of this historic moment to host the first-ever extraordinary event in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia,” Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs said in a statement.

The official said that Dubai is ready to accept millions of visitors in time for the grand exhibition event.

The government expects 25 million visitors around the world will take part in the much anticipated Dubai Expo 2020.

Meanwhile, the Dubai International Airport will welcome visitors through a musical performance ahead of the countdown of the Expo 2020 event.
