LOOK: Pinoy evacuates with facial mask amid quake in Mindanao

Netizens can’t help but be amused by a man with facial mask still on his face in the wake of a strong tremor that shook parts of Mindanao on Wednesday night.

Facebook user Noy Leones shared the photos of his friend and colleague Mark Anthony Cutamora at 7:53 p.m. after they, along with other mall goers, evacuated from Ayala Malls (Abreeza) in Davao City.

“Kanang gusto nmo mahimong gwapo at the same time gusto pa ka mabuhi kay naay kusog na linog! Hahaha Epic fail ka bai Mark Anthony Cutamora!” he wrote in his caption.

(Yung gusto mo magpagwapo at the same time gusto mo din mabuhay dahil may malakas na lindol! Hahaha Epic fail ka, bro Mark Anthony Cutamora!)

Leones told The Filipino Times that it took them three minutes to get out of the spa establishment inside the mall.

They were both having facial care treatment when they felt the tremor.

“Naka-tulog kasi ako kaya medyo nag-panic ako ng lumindol,” he said in an interview.

When they got out after evacuating, that’s when Leones took a photo of Cutamora with a facial mask still on his face.

Cutamora also shared Leones’ post on his own Facebook account.

“Nakakatakot at nakakatawang pangyayari atm, 6.7 magnitude earthquake davao, preparing for the MoA talk facial pa more????! Wala ko kasabot giunsa namo paggawas in less than a minute sa shop!” he wrote in his caption.

Both Cutamora and Leones have undergone the facial care treatment in preparation for their convention in Manila on Sunday where they are both speakers.

As for Cutamora’s facial mask, Leones said the spa staff removed it later on. They were also told to go back on Oct. 21 to finish their treatment at no additional cost to them.

Leones post has been shared 1,000 times on Facebook and gained 6,000 plus reactions.
