The Filipino’s sense of fashion and flair isn’t just for your eyes only – it can also be showcased for the benefit of the masses as proven by the recently concluded Red Charity Gala 2019 held at Shangri-La the Fort, held last October 12.
Among the featured internationally renowned fashion designers this year is 2016 The Filipino Times Rizal Awardee and Fashion Designer of the Year Ezra Santos, whose works were featured on stage of the charity event spearheaded by socialite-philanthropists Kaye Tinga and Tessa Prieto-Valdes.
Santos featured a collection of what he describes as the ‘modern classic interpretation’ of the women within the Arab culture, based on his years of working and collaborating with them in the United Arab Emriates.
The 11th edition of the Red Charity Gala was titled “The First Ten” that featured several other Filipino fashion designers’ works, with proceeds for the projects led by the Philippine Red Cross and the Assumption High School 81 Foundation.
The Red Charity Gala highlights the creativity, passion, and world class works of Filipino fashion designers through the annual benefit charity event.
