The Filipino Times Awards boosts business collaborations, expands networks for entrepreneurs

The story of 2018 The Filipino Times Entrepreneur of the Year Michelle Guinto captured the hearts of netizens as from an early age, she was already on the streets helping her parents earn income by selling Tinapa (smoked fish) in the Philippines.

Fast forward to today, she’s now a proud company owner of a successful cargo business with a business that has bloomed even further following her win at the recent The Filipino Times Awards.

Bridges for further business development

Following her TFT Awards win, Guinto beams that it has since opened further windows of opportunities and blessings than ever before.

“So many opportunities opened, from having more networks to more business collaborations, and more personal and social engagement. Being recognized as TFT’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 was a humbling experience and will forever remember it as an award of being a game changer,” shares Guinto.

Guinto hopes that more entrepreneurs will step forward and show their resilience and persistence as Filipinos so that they’ll reach their dreams towards success amidst any challenges. “The TFT Awards nominations will uplift and motivate them more to be more passionate on their personal, career and business achievements to meet each of their objectives and more persistent in helping the economy and community to beat the current global economic challenge,” said Guinto.

The 2018 TFT Awards Entrepreneur of the Year is also grateful for the organizing committee of The Filipino Times Awards who have all been instrumental in uplifting the image of Filipinos on a global scale: “I was one of those who first witnessed your 1st TFT Awards year 2015 and from then on, the Yearly TFT Awards continue to make us more uplifted, inspired and excited for all the Nominees. We are greatly thankful for all the Founders & members of this event as you never stop this yearly advocacy making all the Filipinos more passionate to achieve more and inspire more.”
