TFT Awards amplifies reach towards Filipino markets

The Filipino Times Awards has positioned itself as an award giving body that provides not just prestige for brand winners – it has also become a bridge that links different brands to their intended target market – the Filipino community here in the UAE and beyond.

This was proven true by two of 2018’s winners: Chowking, which was hailed as the 2018 TFT Awards Preferred Casual Dining Restaurant of the Year as well as Tabeer Tourism, recipient of the 2018 TFT Awards Preferred Travel Agency of the Year as they were voted for by more than 40,000 Filipinos across the UAE.

Christy Baldonado, Resolute Group’s Deputy Marketing Manager that manages the Chowking Brand in UAE and Oman, shares that the award giving body has increased their footfall for Filipinos across their branches following their win. “The Filipino Times Awards signifies the reach and acceptability of our brand, Chowking, It connects us and the community to express confidence and love for each other,” shared Baldonado.

Strengthening the brand’s footing for Filipinos
Ali furthers that winning the TFT Awards gave their brand a huge push to reach out to Filipinos even more as months went by: “The Filipino Times is the most famous paper and digital platform in the Filipino community.
