Mallari has started selling T-shirts with a printed word “Lifesavers,” which indicated that the buyers were helping to save the life of his son Gabriel, a CNA report said

Upon suggestion of his friends, Mallari organized the concert at the Southern Taoyuan Youth Activity Center.

Admission to the concert was NT$50 (US$1.62), while the “Lifesaver” T-shirts were sold at the venue at NT$400 each.

About 200 people watched the concert which featured various performers such as a mime group, a hip hop dance crew and music bands of various genres, the report said.
