Nominations for brands have closed and the voting process has now begun to determine which brands will be hailed in The Filipino Times Awards for brands who have rightfully earned their mark as the ‘Filipino Preferred’ brands for 2019.
Now on its 5th year, the annual The Filipino Times Awards has garnered names of 269 brands in total across different categories for this year’s awards.
“When a brand wins the heart of Filipinos here in UAE, they are essentially at the top of mind of more than a million of the country’s residents whose influence through word-of-mouth and reliable testimonials in social media stretches to their friends, co-workers, and colleagues from other nationalities,” says Vince Ang, General Manager of The Filipino Times.
Brands who have previously won have acknowledged that The Filipino Times Awards gave their presence in the UAE a huge boost in the number of Filipinos who frequent their services and patronize their products thus the nominees this year are now campaigning to encourage their Filipino customers to vote for them for this year’s TFT Awards.
“We have received a lot of inquiries from different brands on how to be part of The Filipino Times Awards as they would like to tap and get closer to the Filipino community here in the UAE. They see The Filipino Times Awards as the best platform for them to connect with Filipinos,” said Ang.
The glitterati event, scheduled to take place sometime in early November, will feature 25 winners in different categories. The categories are stated below along with the nominees in alphabetical order:
