Son builds father’s dream house in five years

Randy Oliverio once dreamed what his father dreamed of, and after five years of hardship and sacrifices , he finally made the blueprint drawing of his father into a reality.

A native from San Antonio, Northern Samar, Oliverio described their nipa house with roof that would leak when it rains.

He narrated that whenever his colleagues asked him what he had invested, he always answers that he wanted to build a new house in the province for his family. His friends told him to invest his money for business. Others even described his goal of building the house as a “dead investment” as there’s is no return of investment out of it. But instead, he chose to pursue the dream of his father to have a two-storey house with a terrace.

Challenges

His goal to fulfill his parents’ dream prevailed despite all of the negative feedback he got, and he made sure to work hard to make it a reality. Oliverio divulged that he was motivated by a “successful person’s“ story in which Oliverio narrated that, that person had also goals for his parents, but when the time comes he was already successful, his parents were not there anymore to see it.

Currently, he is a property specialist at a well-known and established property developer in the Philippines. Aside from giving his family a dream house, he also gets to travel to different countries already.

He shared a photo of their house in 2014 and how it has since transformed into the new house it has become this 2019.
