UAE authorities have launched a new road radar that can detect motorists who use the lanes intended for buses and taxis.
Violators can face a fine of Dh400.
Sharjah Police Commander-in-Chief Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi said that the radar would be helpful to ensure that buses going to Dubai will maximize the lanes dedicated for them.
Sharjah Police posted a video on Twitter to encourage motorists to stay on the proper lanes.
