Drive around UAE’s seven emirates in style

The UAE continues to see new and improved ways to make the journey around its seven emirates in a more convenient and now, in style as well! You can now ride in your very own Mustang, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes, or opt to ride Tesla cars. The country has also recently expanded its service for the public on the recent launch of the Dubai-Sharjah ferry service, new buses in Abu Dhabi, and more! Here they are:

uDrive’s Mustang and Mercedes

Earlier in the year, uDrive has launched brand new car options to allow their drivers to enjoy their trip around the roads of Dubai in their most stylish recent additions to their fleet of cars. Once you locate the nearest vehicle with your app, you can now drive anywhere – just be sure to return the car at the same city from where your trip began.

Ride and drive luxury sports cars

If you’ve ever dreamed of riding luxury cars, it’s easy to do so here in the UAE with selections of luxury sports cars available for rent at various shops. You can now ride a Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche, Lamborghini and any other sports cars you might think of!

Travel on a Tesla

The UAE also offers options for a more environmental-friendly ride with the Tesla cars available for you to ride through either Careem or Uber. These apps highlight the convenience of getting a ride as you wait with the touch of your fingertips and capitalizes on the lack of need bring out cash as the app is linked with your debit and/or credit card, allowing for cashless payments.

Dubai-Sharjah Ferry service

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) recently launched a water transport service from Dubai’s Al Ghubaiba Marine Station to Sharjah’s Aquarium Marine Station. The service marks the first marine transit service operated from Dubai towards another emirate as part of RTA’s master plan to expand its services. Tickets cost only Dh 15 for silver class and Dh 25 for gold class. Dubai’s first and last trip are at 5:15 am and 8:00 pm, while Sharjah’s is at 5:00 am and 7:30 pm.

New buses in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi will soon see 40 new buses for residents and visitors as part of the Integrated Transport Centre’s (ITC) plan to improve services offered to the public especially during peak hours serving areas within the Abu Dhabi Region. The buses are expected to roll out beginning October 11, 2019. This is expected to add as many as 147 daily bus trips towards the capital.
