A couple, farmers based in Benguet province, got married in a church they decorated with cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower.
Their wedding was held last July at the San Jose Parish Church in La Trinidad, Benguet.
The altar was decorated with arrangements made of cabbage and the bride walked down the aisle also lined with green vegetables.
Claver and Fleann Molot said they got the idea from one of their relatives.
They did accommodate the idea because their main source of income is growing vegetables.
They did not have to spend a single centavo for the decor. They just harvested the produce from their farm.
The couple underscored that the vegetables were not wasted.
They made these giveaways to their wedding guests, while some were used as ingredients of the food they prepared for the wedding reception.
