$96M lottery winner: My ‘endless lunch break’ starts now!

An Australian office worker is going on an “endless lunch break” after winning $96 million prize in the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot.

The Australian received the good news while at work and he said he’d quit his job, according to the Australian lottery website The Lott.

He told The Lott he couldn’t wait to inform his wife that he is a multi-millionaire now.

“I don’t think she’ll believe me. I’m a bit of a prankster so she’ll probably think I’m pulling a fast one.”

At the time he received the news, the man said it’s unlikely that he’d finish the day at work.

“My endless lunch break starts now!” he said.

The father also told The Lott about his plans which include looking after his children, making sure they are set up for the future, and of course, taking on “the most outrageous holiday”

““I’ve always wanted to travel so maybe I’ll work my way around the world,” the man said.

The office worker, who wishes to remain anonymous, is the second-biggest lottery winner in Australian history, according to The Lott.

The Lott says the current record for the largest lottery win in Australia is being held by a Sydney woman who won the $107.5 million Powerball prize in January.
