An opportunity is now open for those who want to not just be a pro media influencer but also a diploma holder.
The Dubai Press Club in collaboration with American University in Dubai’s Mohammed bin Rashid School for Communication (MBRSC) developed Social Media Influencers Diploma Program – a six-course diploma for online influencers.
According to Step Feed, the program which is the first accredited certificate program in the region by UAE’s Ministry of Education, aims to train Arab social media influencers in strategic communications and enable them to produce effective content on social media platforms.”
The diploma will “be offered to 100 active and aspiring social media influencers based in the UAE, in successive cohorts of 20 each” during its debut semester wherein those who will be enrolled will be taught different skills in communication such as public speaking and working on social media strategies in line with ethical standards.
Those enrolled will be taught a wide variety of skills including public speaking, presentation, creative content development, working on social media strategies, and understanding the ethics of the platforms they use.
Dubai Press Club President Mona Al Marri said the program is in line with Dubai’s vision in developing and empowering talented individuals and enhancing their roles in the community’s adavancement.
