Face off: OFW faces Pakistani ex-boyfriend accusing her of extorting Php3.5M

Pakistani Muhammad Arslan Athar came face to face with his ex-Filipina girlfriend and a former overseas Filipino worker (OFW) in Dubai on Raffy Tulfo’s show ‘Wanted sa Radyo’ on Friday.

Muhammad has been accusing Rose Mataac of swindling him of about Php3.5 million. The Pakistani said that the Filipina asked him to pay for her annulment amounting to Php300,000 and other expenses so that they can eventually get married.

Facing her accuser, Mataac vehemently denied all of Muhammad’s claims.

“Nagpunta po ako sa Dubai may pera po ako. Hindi ako papapasukin sa Dubai kung wala akong pera. Lahat po ng binigay niya sa akin siya nag volunteer noon,” Mataac said.

Muhammad, however, insisted that Mataac asked for the things he paid for including sending money to Mataac’s family.

“Masama po ang loob niya kasi alam niya naman na di ako magtatagal sa Dubai, three months lang. Saka diba pag nililigawan mo mag papakitang gilas ka talaga,” Mataac said.

When asked how the Pakistani came up with the amount of Php3.5 million, he said that some of it were estimates.

“I don’t have the receipts for everything because some of it were daily expenses,” Muhammad said.

The Filipina also debunked Muhammad’s claims that he paid for her annulment.

“Hindi po totoo yun. Pera ko po ginamit ko galing sa BPI account ko,” she said.

Tulfo saw nothing can be resolved between the two and said that Mataac should’ve not made any commitment to marry the Pakistani.

The show tried to resolve the conflict off the air but they ended up threatening each other of showing ‘sensitive documents’ against each other.
