World-class Pinoy animator teaches fellow OFWs how to wield paintbrush like a master

Dubai: If you’re familiar with Disney’s animated films like “Tarzan” and “Hercules”, then you might be surprised to know that a Filipino based in Dubai was part of the production that brought life to these characters.

Meet Wilfredo “Tato” Leonardo, a Filipino animator who now shares his talent in painting to his fellow OFWs and expats in Dubai.

According to ABS CBN News report, this is his way of rekindling his love for painting, which has taken a backseat when he pursued drawing and animation.

His love for comic books led him to shift to sketching, and then to animation.

But as they say, first love never dies. And to keep the flame of his talent in painting alive, he is teaching others how to wield a paintbrush like a master.
