He traveled 2,400 kilometers to surprise his girlfriend. Only to find out that he will also get the surprise of his life.
Twitter user @T_Radiosonde tweeted the photos of this man whose video has gone viral on Chinese social media platform Weibo.
However, many netizens also alleged that entire scene might have been “scripted” or staged.
The tweet posted on July 18 has gained 24,684 retweets and 83,261 likes, as of this writing.
It showed a picture of this man wearing a brown bear mascot to surprise his girlfriend. But when he took off the head of the mascot, he saw with his own eyes his girlfriend going out with another man–a scene that’s hard to bear.
Dismayed at what he saw, he turned around and put back the head of the mascot. When he was walking away from the heartbreaking scene, his girlfriend went after him and hugged him.
Nobody knew what the woman was saying to his man but some speculated that she was trying to appease him.
