In a not usual setting, a woman battling with stage 4 ovarian cancer finally got her dream wedding inside their house in Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City.
Pinky Velasco married again her husband Gregorio Velasco Jr. officiated by Fr. Mhar Balili, parish priest of the Archdiocesan Shrine of San Roque.
The priest decided to went to the house of the couple considering the condition of Pinky.
The Freeman reported that Pinky and Gregorio got married in 2006 through civil rites but Pinky had always dreamed of church wedding.
The couple also received six sacraments during their wedding – baptism, confirmation, confession, eucharist, matrimony, and anointing of the sick for Pinky.
