This ‘Millennial Museum’ for tourists, balikbayans will treat your traveler spirits

Exploring more than 7,000 islands in the Philippines would surely cost too much – but what if you can manage to travel across the Philippines without spending too much?

The Philippines’ latest tourist attraction, Lakbay Museo, promises a ‘tour’ of the Philippines in just two hours without spending too much of your hard earned money.

Opening this July 12 located at the Mall of Asia Complex, Lakbay Museo coins itself as the ‘first Philippine Millennial museum’ that allows visitors to experience the regions of the Country, may it be in Luzon, Visayas or Mindanao.

Visitors may enter the museum in a unique way through the classic jeepney, an airplane or the Vinta from Mindanao.

Furthermore, there are at least 600 regional dishes that you may taste inside the museum plus you may try tasting lambanog and vinegar for free.

Tourists will also be enthralled with the Instagrammable tourist areas within the museum including the Banaue Rice Terraces, the Mayon volcano in Albay or the historical Magellan’s cross in Cebu.

Traditional dance numbers and performances will enrich your experience further as you enjoy watching history play before your very eyes.

And there’s more, this museum is also advocacy-oriented. Upon entering the museum, exhibits made from recycled rubber tires, car mats and rubber slippers will amaze you.
