Filipino ship crew ‘zumba’ goes viral

When it comes to outrageous ideas online, Filipinos have their own way of keeping people entertained.

A group of men on board bulk carrier M/V IVS Augusta showed the online world how they celebrate birthdays, especially when you’re out in the open sea.

In the video shared by one of its crew and birthday celebrant Ryan Rapiza, about 14 of them danced in front of a camera and showed their choreographed dance steps.

It turned out in another video that they were following workout dance steps from one of their crew who positioned himself at an elevated portion.

Most of them were soaking wet after they turned a portion of their ship into a poolside area using an inflatable pool. A hose was also showering water to them and made it appear they were dancing in the rain.

Facebook users can’t help but be amused by how these men were able to pull off their dance.

One Facebook user Glenn Frey Lozada took notice of the senior man on blue shorts.

Lozada think he’s the captain of the ship who missed out to have fun during his younger years.

He then praised him for bringing “good vibes” on this video.

The video which has a length of almost six minutes has already been shared almost 3,000 times since it was uploaded last June 28 and now has over 280,000 views.
