Toy enthusiasts may want to have the Philippines’ iconic public transportation to their collection.
Starting today, Tamiya will distribute their new toy racing car model inspired by the country’s jeepney.
According to GMA News Online, this concept was a collaboration between Japanese toymaker Tamiya and its Filipino exclusive distributor.
According to a post by Lourd De Veyra, the “Dyipne” will be sold exclusively at Lil’s Hobby Center and The Brickyard.
This is Tamiya’s way of paying tribute to the Pinoy icon in time for the upcoming 4WD Asia Cup 2019 in Manila on June 20-23 in Glorietta.
It comes with red design and those who’ll purchase it gets the chance to decorate the mini 4WD themselves.
