Some students prefer to live near their universities but others don’t have the option to rent and are left with no choice but to brave daily commute from their provinces to their schools.
This is the story of Horaze Kyle Lozano, who opted to travel via bus commute from his house to his university. His graduation photo showing all the bus tickets he used during his 4-years in college made the rounds online.
In his now viral Facebook post, Lozano wrote a caption of people telling him to rent a dorm.
A lot of netizens said that they can identify with Lozano’s plight and they are considering to keep their bus tickets as well.
Genesis Transport Services, one of the buses that Lozano regularly rides, commended his dedication and hardwork.
“We’re proud to be part of your journey, Kyle. Dahil diyan, sagot na namin ang roundtrip Joybus ticket mo papuntang Baguio o Baler + 3 days and 2 nights hotel accommodation. Congratulations! ?#LetsG, ” the bus company posted.
Lozano thanked the bus company in another post.
His graduation photo garnered 19 thousand reactions and 5 thousand shares.
