Manila: Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) marketing student Patricia Banzuela stood proud as she posed for her graduation photos that are now viral on Facebook.
In a post last Wednesday, Banzuela says ‘hindi hadlang ang kapansanan para hindi makapagtapos ng pag aaral’.
Banzuela is dealing with the condition of Alopecia an autoimmune disease that causes partial or severe hair loss.
In one of her photos, Banzuela bravely posed with her real condition showing her baldness while another photo shows the marketing student wearing a wig.
Banzuela admits that she has experience bullying incidents but it didn’t stop her from pursuing her dreams. She adds that her condition even motivated her to finish her studies.
Banzuela is set to graduate this month, she dedicates her journey to her parents and friends who supported her all the way.
Banzuela’s facebook viral post has now more than 30,000 reactions and at least 11,000 shares.
