PAL flight attendant earns praise for taking care of crying baby on plane

Several netizens commended a Philippine Airline (PAL) flight attendant for going the extra mile to help a passenger who was having a hard time taking care of her baby.

As seen in a now viral Facebook post by Alana Michelle Escudero, she was onboard a PAL flight from Zamboanga bound for Manila when a baby started crying which disturbed everyone on the plane.

The mother tried to calm down her baby but the child just won’t stop wailing. Escudero said that the mother started to panic when other passengers started looking at her because of her crying child.

“I can definitely say PAL has the most respectable cabin crew,” Escudero said in her Facebook post before narrating what happened.

“This first time mother was panicking halfway through the flight when her infant started wailing, disturbing sleeping passengers and gaining attention from every female on board, you could see her trying to hush the infant, panic written all over her face and worry as she tried to calm
down her baby,” she said.

Escudero said that another lady stood up to help the mother calm down her child but the baby only stopped crying when one of the cabin crew members, who the netizen described as an “expert father”, took her in his arms.

“One of the cabin crew members was an expert father. Within minutes in his arms, the baby was sleeping soundly,” she said.

The photo shows the unidentified flight attendant carrying the baby while feeding her.

“Ladies, a good husband is a good father,” the netizen said. “This man right here was flying 32,000 ft and was 800 miles from home. I had never seen anything more beautiful than this moment when he hushed and smiled at the baby girl in his arms.”

As of press time, Escudero’s post has earned over 27,000 reactions and 8,000 shares on Facebook.
