Grandma, set to graduate from high school at 81 years old

It was a year ago when Salvacion Flores Nacario got featured on GMA-7’s Front Row for pursuing her education despite her age.

Her feature on the said show introduced viewers to her life story. “Lola Sally” is 80 years old and she is a senior high school student.

She stopped going to school when she was in 3rd year high school and was not able to finish her studies until she decided to return to school six decades later.

Lola Sally already experienced a stroke in 2016 but that did not stop her from achieving her academic goals.

Fast forward to 2019, Facebook user Chryzaine Dionisio shared an update on Lola Sally saying that the latter is expected to graduate from Fort Bonifacio High School this coming April.

The photos that Dionisio shared showed Lola Sally with her teenager classmates. One photo also showed her wearing a graduation toga which inspired a lot of netizens.

As of press time, Dionisio’s post has garnered over 11,000 reactions and 9,500 shares on Facebook.
