Despite being miles away from their own families who are left in the Philippines, some OFWs find a new one which they can feel a certain attachment to. This is truly evident in a viral video that shows a young girl who doesn’t want to say goodbye to her nanny.
As seen in a video uploaded by Kuching Talk on Facebook, tears ran down the face of a young girl as she embraces her nanny at an airport. The identity and nationality of the nanny in the video was not disclosed but many netizens who have watched it believe that she is a Filipina.
It is unclear if the housemaid is going home for a quick vacation or for good but it cannot be denied that the girl doesn’t want her to leave.
According to online sources, the parents of the child did not expect that she will react that way when her nanny was about to leave.
It can also be seen in the video that as the nanny was trying to pacify the young girl, the mother started shedding a tear too.
The videos were received positively by Filipino netizens, especially by OFWs who found the video relatable.
Many of them admired the housemaid’s employers for treating her with so much love during the time she has worked for them.
