One of the top reasons why foreign employers love hiring Filipino housemaids is their capability to sincerely take care of other people’s children and treat them as their own – so much so that in many cases, the kids themselves grow fonder of their ‘new moms’ over their real parents.
Such is seen in a now viral video of a young kid who cried endless tears as she says goodbye to her Filipino housemaid who is about to board her plane presumably to head back to the Philippines.
The nationality of the kid and her mom wasn’t revealed in the video but netizens speculate them to be Chinese due to their looks. However the video shows clearly how the little kid doesn’t want for her yaya to go anywhere else.
The mother of the kid also cried upon seeing that her kid in tears of sadness, however the Filipina housemaid had to catch her flight before she misses it.
Many netizens sympathized with the kid in the video, praising the kind of care that Filipino housemaids provide for families abroad. Some even commented that the family should have asked the Filipino housemaid to be taken to the airport by someone else just so the young little kid wouldn’t have had to go through such a sad experience.
The video has over 15,000 reactions and comments with over 8,000 shares as of press time.
