‘This is the first amongst our planned 30 COOP Express supermarkets in the Capital city’, said Bejoy Pulickel, Chief Operating Officer at ADCOOP. “COOP Express supermarkets will have store sizes of 200sqmtrs to 500sqmtrs and will benefit the customers by offering the same value in conveniently located express supermarkets as in large COOP hypermarkets”, said Pulickel.
The COOP Express supermarkets will operate 24hrs and will facilitate home delivery via a mobile application based service and as well via traditional methods.
“Research has it that top-up shopping has shoppers visiting supermarkets 12 to 16 times if not more during a month and COOP express supermarkets will help us remain relevant to our customers, curtail undue profiteering by small operators and offer fresh products amidst state of the art facilities” , said Mr. Pulickel.
