A local bus in the Philippines has come up with an amusing pastime for its passengers, as it offers free rides to riders who will get a perfect score on the videoke.
Situated in the Queen City of the South, the bus cruises from the Cebu South Bus Terminal to Sibonga City. Passengers taking this route can steer clear of boredom from long distance travels by singing a song on the built-in videoke.
All passengers may book a song of their choice. Should he or she score a perfect 100, the bus will give away the passenger’s fare for free.
Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB)’s Regional Director for Central Visayas Eduardo Montealto said to ABS-CBN News that bus promotions like this are allowed by the board–as long as it won’t cause any disturbances to other motorists.
Driver of the videoke bus Agrifino Sentillas said they can turn off the videoke if a passenger complains about it.
