OFWs can help Dubai achieve new world record

UAE expats, including the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), can help Dubai achieve a new world record on November 1.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) Dubai has called for participants who will join the government agency’s attempt to bag a new Guinness World Record for the “most nationalities in a human chain” (or largest possible number of multi-national riders in a transport).

This event, spearheaded by the RTA, is in celebration of the Public Transport Day on November 1. The world record attempt will be held at the Etisalat Metro Station.

“A Guinness World Record awaits you. Don’t miss the chance to join us and be part of this historic event,” RTA tweeted.

To join, RTA has laid out the following requirements:
– Participants must be available, for full day activities, on 1st of November.
– Participants must bring their valid passports.
– Participants will wear RTA’s branded t-shirts during the achieving of the Guinness Record.
– Minimum age limit for participation is 18 Years.
